Chisinau, October 29, 2025 – During the event “Sowing Knowledge, Harvesting Sustainability”, the GreenFields Academy Moldova program was officially launched – an initiative dedicated to farmers in the Republic of Moldova who grow field crops and are looking to transition toward regenerative, efficient, and climate-resilient agriculture. The program is implemented by EFSE, Microinvest and AMAZAG, with the support of partners Syngenta, AgroProfi and AIDER Association.
An innovative platform for responsible agriculture
GreenFields Academy is more than just a training program – it’s an enabling environment that provides farmers with the information, tools, and connections they need to succeed, without compromising the efficiency and competitiveness of their business.
For the debut edition GreenFields Academy Moldova, 34 farmers from across the country were selected after successfully completing the application process and interviews. Over 6 months they will learn how to apply sustainable methods for soil protection and increased productivity. The program includes:
- Technical online courses taught by specialists in sustainable agriculture.
- Farm visits aimed at facilitating experience exchange and promoting awareness of regenerative practices.
- Access to practical, field-validated information, ready for immediate application.
- Networking and partnership opportunities with farmers and suppliers from all regions of the country.

“Sustainable agriculture is a necessity – this is the direction we promote through Greenfields Academy Moldova, an initiative based on responsibility, innovation and resilience, that transforms vision into action. We learn from each other, share experiences, and strengthen a shared commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.” – Oxana Binzaru, Regional Director, Finance in Motion, Co-Manager at EFSE
“Moldovan agriculture has a future – a thriving future, especially if farmers apply best practices and are prepared for climate change in an efficient way. Experience exchanges remain one of the most valuable methods for fostering innovation. We are thrilled that through this program we can amplify our impact on the durable development of agriculture in Moldova and be closer to our clients.” – Dmitrii Svinarenco, CEO Microinvest
GreenFields Academy will continue in the coming month with activities dedicated to the selected farmers, and durable impact – with more sustainable farms, stronger agricultural communities and a more resilient agriculture.
