Agriculture in the Republic of Moldova is undergoing a profound transformation. More and more farmers are turning to advanced technologies and sustainable practices that ensure both soil protection and long-term business prosperity. In this context, EFSE, in partnership with Microinvest and AMAZAG, is launching GreenFields Academy, a free training program for crop farmers designed to facilitate the adoption of regenerative and soil-conservation practices.
Now in its first edition in Moldova, the program follows four successful editions already implemented in Romania and marks an absolute first for the local market. GreenFields Academy Republic of Moldova is implemented by EFSE, Microinvest, and AMAZAG, with the support of Syngenta, AgroProfi, and AIDER. Its goal is to help farmers become more resilient to climate challenges, contribute to environmental protection, and ensure high productivity and efficiency.
“Regenerative agriculture is a necessity. Farmers are already facing the impact of climate change, and GreenFields Academy provides a professional framework where they can learn, test, and implement sustainable solutions. We are glad to contribute to developing a new generation of farmers – better informed, better connected, and better prepared for the future.” – Dmitrii Svinarenco, CEO of Microinvest, program partner.
“GreenFields Academy is more than a training program – it is an investment in the future of Moldovan agriculture. Through education, innovation, and strong local partnerships, farmers can turn climate challenges into opportunities. At EFSE, we believe in the power of communities to drive change, and this program is a concrete example of how we can build together a more responsible, resilient, and locally grounded agriculture,” said Oxana Binzaru, Regional Director at EFSE, co-organizer of the program.
