We are expanding our Infrastructure & Network Support team and are looking for a Middle Network Engineer to contribute to the administration, security, and development of our network infrastructure, including Fortinet solutions.

About the role
- Administer and monitor the company’s network infrastructure and connections between the headquarters, data center, and regional offices;
- Configure and manage Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer), including firewall policies, NAT, VLANs, routing, and VPNs;
- Contribute to the development of the SD-WAN and ADVPN architecture and manage network equipment, including switches and VLANs;
- Monitor and investigate network and security incidents using tools such as FortiAnalyzer, Zabbix, Wireshark, and NetFlow;
- Participate in network changes, updates, and infrastructure modernization projects in collaboration with technical teams;
- Maintain technical documentation and provide support to L1/L2 colleagues, including planned maintenance outside regular working hours.
Expectations
- 2–4 years of practical experience in network infrastructure administration and hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, particularly FortiGate;
- Strong skills in configuring and managing firewalls, NAT, IPsec/SSL VPN, VLANs, and routing;
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as DHCP, DNS, ARP, STP, LACP, and ACL; knowledge of OSPF and BGP is an advantage;
- Ability to independently investigate network incidents and performance issues using logs, packet captures, Wireshark, and monitoring tools such as Zabbix and FortiAnalyzer;
- Good understanding of network security principles and the ability to propose well-reasoned technical solutions while following change management and documentation procedures;
- Clear communication skills when working with technical teams, users, and external vendors; Russian is required, Romanian is an advantage, and English is required for working with technical documentation.
